To The Guy Who Never Said Goodbye

Ever wonder what it felt like ending a book in the middle of a sentence? Or watching a movie with no definite ending? Or wanting to catch a call when its about to end?
You were right there. Good talk, good nights. We were doing everything right, or I thought we were. We laughed at small things, argued at smaller things. We were a thing, we were.
Then you were gone.
Just like a blink of an eye.
You were gone like things never happened, gone like we never happened. You never called back, you never said goodbye. What happened to those long nights of sincerity and secrecy? What happened to the days you said you will never leave? What happened to the promises and words you made? What happened to us?
You left me like I was reading a book ending in a middle of a sentence, you left me like a movie with unsure conclusion, you left me like I was trying to catch a call when it was about to end. You left me with fistful questions.
And you still are a question.
I did recall you saying hello but never had I heard you saying goodbye.
